Raymond Wilfred Roumillat

Mr. Raymond Wilfred Roumillat, 85, of Thomasville, passed away January 17, 2021.

Raymond was born September 2, 1935 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Austin Norman Roumillat and the late Pearl Mackey Roumillat. In affition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Dennis Ray Roumillat, three brothers and two sisters.

Raymond served in the Army National Guards, retired from V.E. Aerospace as a maintenance supervisor and was a member of Wallburg Baptist Church. He had served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, youth leader and a member of various committees at a previous church. In June 1957 he married JoAnn White who survives of the home.

Also surviving is his son Paul Roumillat (Nicky) of Winston-Salem, his daughter Valinda Roumillat of Winston-Salem; grandchildren Courtney Hollingsworth (Shane), Adam DeJonge, Kirstie Smith (Jordan), Kristen Marion (Alex), Tyler Roumillat and fiancée Erin, Ryan Roumillat (Sarah), Emily Roumillat; great grandchildren, Bailey Hollingsworth, Charlie Roumillat; his brother Jack Edward Roumillat (Kim) of Saint George, SC; daughter-in-law Robin Roumillat of Winston-Salem.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Wallburg Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Wolfe officiating. The family will greet friends and family following the service in the church fellowship hall. Those attending are asked to wear a mask and practice safe distancing.
