Rebecca Watkins Langley, 83, of the South Main community went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, June 18, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on February 22, 1943 in Davidson County to the late Hanzey and Geneva Cannady Watkins.  Rebecca was a faithful member of Life Impact Church and was a devoted pastor’s wife for her husband of 63 years, Robert D. Langley who preceded her in death on April 26, 2024. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Rebecca was a homemaker and great cook which she enjoyed doing for family gatherings.  Many are a recipient of her crocheted dishcloths that she gave has Christmas presents. Her family and friends will fondly remember her as an amazing Christian lady who always had a kind word and smiling face.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Watkins; sister, Louise Leonard; and granddaughter, Courtney Langley.

Rebecca is survived by her two children, Belinda James and husband Robby, and son Paul Langley; four grandchildren, Michael James (Cortney), Jonathan James (Sydney), Brittany Misay (Ben), and Whitney Smith (Austin); and five great-grandchildren, Body Cassell, McKenzie Smith, Cannon Smith, Aubrey Misay, and Owen Misay.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Life Impact Church with Bishop Titus Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.  The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM, 5090 S. Main St, Winston-Salem, NC.

The family sends sincere gratitude to family and friends for the visits, calls, and food.  They would also like to thank the staff at Trellis Supportive Home Care for the past three months of diligent care.
