Rev. James “Alexander” Williams, Sr., 59, a resident of Randleman passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 in Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He was born
July 14, 1961 in Danville, VA to the late James Edward Williams and Alice Leona Randolph Williams. He graduated from Bartlett-Yancey Senior High School and earned a bachelor degree from NC State University. He was an interdenominational minister. He worked with Proctor and Gamble, and Gilbarco Mfg. Alexander loved fishing and hunting, and loved to cook. He enjoyed the beach and loved to live life to the fullest. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerel Totten.
On July 14, 1990, he married Valencia Pritchett Williams, who survives of the home. Also surviving is his son, “James” Alexander Williams, Jr. of Thomasville, and daughter, Victoria Gabrielle Williams of Roanoke, VA; a brother, Jeffrey “Jeff” Williams of Yanceyville, and sister, Anne “Marie” Williams of Greensboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
