Rhonda Jean Leonard Hedrick

Mrs. Rhonda Jean Leonard Hedrick, 65, of Lexington, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 28, 2025 at her home.  She was born on May 10, 1959 in Davidson County, Thomasville, NC to B.J. Leonard and Carlene Freedle Leonard.  She was a homemaker and member of Friendly Gospel Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her mother.

On August 20, 1988, she married Steven “Steve” Lee Hedrick, who survives of the home; also surviving is her father, B.J. Leonard of Lexington; her two sisters, Sue Small (Gary) and Becky Nealey (Joe), all of Lexington; sister-in-law, Carol Smith; brother-in-law, Jimmy Hedrick (Pat); nephews, Matthew Nealey, Lewis Small, and Chandler Smith (McKenna); and nieces, Tammy Hedrick and Mandy Stapleton (Zac).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Friendly Gospel Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Summey officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Friendly Gospel Baptist Church, 212 Commercial Park Dr. Thomasville, NC 27360 or to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.  Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
