Ricky Marion Parrish

Mr. Ricky (Fatback) Marion Parrish, 75, passed away at his home in Welcome, NC on July 12, 2025.

Ricky was born March 25, 1950 a son of the late Luther Parrish and the late Pearl Rose Parrish. He retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and Welcome Center Gulf Station. Fatback was a friend to all and was willing to help them in any way he could, especially with a joke or funny story. Ricky was an avid Carolina fan and loved watching them play, but his heart was always in coaching the boys in Welcome Little League Ball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Dianne Wicks Parrish and his second wife Doris Ann Parrish, sisters, Pamela Sykes and Tammy Gibson.

Surviving is his sons, Ritchie Parrish (Jody), Scotty Anderson (Heather), granddaughter Dianna Dawn Anderson, a sister, Vikki Lynn Tuttle and a niece and several nephews.
