It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rita Kay Foltz Mosher, aged 81. She died peacefully on June 14th, 2026 surrounded by family at The Kate B Reynolds Hospice House in Winston Salem.

She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Mother-in-Law and Grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was also the caretaker for many pets that she loved deeply and sincerely.

She is survived by her son, Richard Dean Mosher and his wife, Holly Leigh McCrary Mosher, who she loved as if she was her own, and her grandchildren, Richard Austin Mosher and special friend Margeaux Alexis Briggs, and Reagan Elizabeth Mosher Smith and husband Caleb Christopher Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Dean Harold Mosher, brothers William Edgar Parker and Jimmy Russell Foltz, and parents, Clifford Russell Foltz and Katie (Putchie) Bell White Foltz.

A graveside funeral service will be held on June 17th at 11:00AM at New Mount Vernon Methodist Church, located at 6408 Friendship Ledford Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. All friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Rita's life. [1]
