Mr. Ritchie Joe Hardee, 49, of Florence, SC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 15, 2020 in High Point, NC. He was born on September 21, 1970 in Davidson County, Thomasville, NC to Lloyd Earl Hardee and Minnie Turner Hardee, both of whom preceded him in death. He worked for many years for Thomasville Furniture Industries.

Surviving are his children, Joseph Foley (Lacy), Trisha Hardee (Brandon), Michael Sadler, Ethan Sadler, and Alex Sadler; his partner, Barbara Harris; brothers, Ricky Hardee (Ann) and Rick Darby (Susie); sisters, Kathy Jones (Wayne) and Denise Turner (Lloyd); 8 grandchildren; aunts, Christine Sellers, Doris Sawyer, Cindy Childress, Sylvia Collins, Virginia Hardee, and Judy Campbell; and uncles, Carl and Maxie Hardee.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Bethel Cemetery in Galivants Ferry, SC, near Aynor, SC with Rev. Maxie Hardee officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the graveside service. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
