Robert Franklin Teague

Robert Franklin Teague, 90, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, September 4, 2023.

Bobby was born November 14, 1932 in Forsyth County, the son of the late Robert Teague Sr. and Ruby Kennedy Teague.  In 1972, he opened Bobby Teague Appliance on Stratford Road in Winston-Salem and owned and operated the business until he retired.

He is survived by his sister, Jeloma “Jae” Myers (Andy); Michael Charles, a nephew the he considered his son, along with many nieces and nephews that he dearly loved.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Charles Teague; one brother, Jerry Lemons, and two sisters: Margie Whitman and Lana Bartley.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm Monday, September 11, 2023 at JC Green and Sons Funeral Home, 10301 N NC Hwy 109, Winston-Salem, with his funeral service beginning at 2 pm.  Entombment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens will be private.
