Robert Lee Soles

Robert Lee Soles, 76, of Thomasville passed away Monday, June 29, 2026 at his home. Robert was born January 22, 1950 in Columbus County, North Carolina to the late Dossie Soles and Mildred Josephine Dow Soles. Robert worked many years in Commercial Photography. When he was physically able, he enjoyed to cook for his family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Jesse Earl Soles, Terry Wayne Soles, Elizabeth Fountain, and Peggy Fox.

Surviving is his loving wife, Barbara Ellen Flannery Soles of the home; one daughter, Donna Soles Stine; five siblings, Franklin Soles (Sarah), Eugene Soles, Janet Price (Shelton), Janice Tucker (Keith), and Tommy Soles (Beverly); one grandson, William Stine, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Elayna Stine, and William “Liam” Stine, III.
