Mr. Robert “Bobby” Lee Hughes, 85, of Thomasville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 24, 2020 at Pelican Health of Thomasville. Bobby was born May 5, 1935 to the late Edward and Mandy Hughes in Davidson County. He was of the Baptist Faith. Robert worked 35 years at Commercial Carving. Bobby was very talented and made knives and picture frames. He always enjoyed going to yard sales and Flea markets.

Surviving are a son, Jason Hughes and wife Melissa; daughter, Amanda Johnson; three grandchildren, Kristen Todd, Kimberly Hughes, Dylan Lynn; a great-granddaughter, Savannah Grainger; two sisters, Barbara and Betty Sue.
