Ronald Odell Stafford

Mr. Ronald Odell Stafford, 85, a resident of Thomasville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at High Point Medical Center.  He was born on May 15, 1937 in Forsyth County, NC to Carl Swaim Stafford and Jessie Mae Winfree Stafford.  He retired at the age of 65 from Braxton Culler after starting in 1964.  He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church in High Point.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty Elizabeth Williams Stafford on October 21, 2016; his daughters, Connie Stafford and Janice Stafford; his son, David Collins; his brother, Charles Stafford; his sister, Martha Martin; and his great-great granddaughter, Jayla Kirby.

Surviving is his daughter, Laurie Renee Stafford of the home; 14 grandchildren, Joshua Collins, Matthew Collins, Keeva Stafford, Betsy Flowers and husband Chris, Sarah Mills, Cindy Mills, Jeffery Bailey, Andrew Kirby, Dustin Kirby, Justin Kirby, Hillary Morgan, Emily Jollie, Ronnie Stafford, and Chris Allen; 40 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchildren.
