Mr. Ronnie Dwyne Luck, 57, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. He was born on June 5, 1964 in Thomasville to the late Nolan Wade Luck, Sr. and Mary Lea Wagner Luck. He worked for 34 years as a truck driver for Southeastern Freight Lines and he was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in High Point where he earned Priesthood. In his spare time, he was an avid runner, he loved playing games, and coaching/refereeing soccer games. Ronnie will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family. On August 21st, 1982 he married Chris Rewerts Luck in Lexington and on July 30th, 2016 they were sealed for eternity at the Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Nolan “Wade” Luck, Jr.; one niece, Amanda Luck; one nephew, Preston Luck; and brother-in-law, Edwin Floyd.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Chris Rewerts Luck of the home; two daughters, Jennifer “Boomie” Holt and husband Nick, and Alexandria Luck, both of Thomasville; one son, Travis Luck and wife Nicole of Knoxville, TN; two grandchildren, Natalie Holt and Cameron Holt, both of Thomasville; one sister, Gay Floyd of Thomasville; one brother, Darrell Luck and wife Alyson of Leesville, SC; and three loving dogs, Roxy, Layla, and Nash.
A private graveside service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville. A memorial service will be held at a later date at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in High Point. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
