Rosa Lee (Lewis) Sechrist

Rosa Lee Lewis Sechrist, 72, of Thomasville passed away on Sunday morning, June 13, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Rosa was born March 15, 1949 to the late Clarence Lewis and Maggie Mabe Lewis in Rural Hall. She worked for many years at Kayby Mills in Thomasville. Rosa loved her family deeply and her prized position was all of her grand and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several siblings, Patsy, Teddy, Jerry, Robin, Martha, Thomas, Sambo; a grandson, Kevin Lewis. Surviving is her loving husband of 54 years, Clifford “Ronald” Sechrist of the home; three daughters, Marsha, Tia and Angie; a sister, Carolyn Hodge of Rural Hall; ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Randy Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will greet friends Wednesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
