Roy Von Sessoms

Mr. Roy Von Sessoms, 75, of Sophia went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Beacon Place Hospice in Greensboro. Roy was born December 20, 1949 in Sampson County, North Carolina to the late Ransom Sessoms and Beulah Tanner Sessoms. He worked over 35 years in the furniture industry. Roy enjoyed being outside, whether it be playing horseshoes or spending time at White Lake. He lived life to the fullest and loved making memories with his beloved family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, and two sisters. 
Surviving is his loving wife of 57 years, Faye Marsh Sessoms of the home; two daughters, Angela Taylor and Annie Sessoms; one brother, Horace Sessoms; six grandchildren, Chris Sessoms, Breianna Tucker, Madison Taylor, Zach Taylor, Isabella Sessoms, and Adam Sessoms; he also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Airlia, Atlas, and Colton; two brothers-in-law, Roger Marsh and Tommy Marsh. 
A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville with Rev. Steve Manley officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at J.C.  Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
