Rudy Christopher Taylor passed out of this life at his residence on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 8:30 AM in the morning. Chris was born July 16, 1961 in Guilford County, NC a son of the late Albert McKinley Taylor and the late Elizabeth June Asbury Taylor. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Taylor.

Chris Taylor lived his life with an above average bright and positive outlook on life. Chris always had a million dreams of things he wanted to do and to become. He always viewed his dreams as things that were possible and doable. These personality traits made him fun to be around.

Chris enjoyed working for Hatteras Yacht for several years which was then located in High Point, NC. Later he worked for AMP Corp which was located in Greensboro, NC.

Chris joined the Church of Jesus of Christ of Latter-Day Saints early in life. He was married March 8, 1980, in the church to his wife Deanna Lee Taylor for time and all eternity. Chris worked with the young men in the church in the Boy Scouts of America programs. He worked to help them earn Scouting merit badges and also participated frequently in the associated Scout camping requirements. Chris had the bright out-going personality which fitted well with Boy Scout activities. He was a strong socializer and enjoyed socializing with other church leaders who were involved with youth programs. Chris also enjoyed the scout meetings where individual scouts would be called up front to receive formal recognition for their achievements in the scout programs.

Surviving is his wife Deanna Lee Taylor of the home; his sons, Christopher Charles Taylor and his wife Stephanie of Boise, Idaho, Cody Lee Taylor of the home; his daughter, Lauren Michelle Edmonds and her husband John of Winston-Salem, NC; his brother Ronald Quincy Taylor and his wife Lisa of Greensboro, NC; his sisters, Mitzi Gail Grey and her husband John of Asheville, NC, Teresa Lavonne Singleterry of Greensboro, NC, and Dana Jo Ellen of NC;  his grandchildren, Xander Lee Edmonds, Stephen Christopher Taylor and Liam Lee Taylor.
