Mrs. Sally Fay Walker Lambeth, 81, a resident of Winston-Salem, passed away, Monday, July 12, 2021 after a period of declining health.
Sally was born November 1, 1939 in Forsyth County, NC, a daughter of the late Wade Walker and the late Martha Ruark Walker and had made this area her home all of her life. Sally was a registered nurse in the pediatrics unit with Forsyth Medical Center, retiring after forty years of service. She was a graduate of Gray High School and also the nursing school at City Memorial Hospital. Sally was a diligent homemaker, enjoyed cooking, collecting recipes and jewelry, loved to fish and camping. She was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church until she was unable to be involved in church activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Lambeth Hall and her sister Nancy Walker Koontz. On June 10, 1961 she married W. Bryce Lambeth who survives of the home.
Also surviving is her daughters, Sabrina Lambeth Soltanis (John) of Winston-Salem, Martha Anne Lambeth of High Point, Roxanne Michelle Lambeth of Winston-Salem; grandchildren, Monica Faye Hall, Stephanie Hope Soltanis both of Winston-Sale, great-grandchild, Ambrogio Leonardo (Leo) Bankhead-Finocchiaro of Winston-Salem; and son-in-law, Sanford Hall of Winston-Salem.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, July 16, 2021 from 6 until 8 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home, 10301 N. NC Highway 109, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 (Wallburg Community). In Sally’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2295 Union Grove Road, Lexington, NC 27295.
