Sandra Gallimore

Sandra Kay Helms Gallimore, 59, of Lexington passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 13, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Sandra was born April 12, 1962 in Mecklenburg County to the late Floyd L. Helms, Sr. and Mary Evelyn Williams Helms. Sandra worked many years in Upholstery. She was a gracious and kind hearted person. Sandra’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her precious grandbabies. She loved spoiling her fur babies as well.

Surviving is her daughter, Cassie Gallimore and fiancé Corey Smith; one brother, Floyd Helms, Jr. and wife Vickie; two sisters, Mary Sue Seals and Ann Gordon and husband Mike; two grandchildren, Kelsey Hayes and Kinzlee Smith. She also leaves behind her fur babies, Mickey and Kitty.

A funeral service will be held Sunday July 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville with Scott Worley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to the family of Addy Gibson- Go Fund Me- Addy’s fight against AML or Davidson County Animal Shelter at 490 Glendale Road Lexington, NC 27292.
