Sandra Jean Pope

Sandra Jean Pope, 74, a resident of Pine Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Thomasville, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Pine Ridge.  She was born on September 29, 1950 in Davidson County, NC, a daughter of Charles Harry “Bill” Pope and Frieda Jean Hayes Pope.  She was of the Baptist faith and worked at the Davidson County Sheltered Workshop in Lexington in her earlier years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Lester Pope; her step-mother, Millie Davis Pope; and her half-sister, Crystal Pope Holder.

Surviving are her brothers, Daniel Pope and wife Faith of Lexington, Chester Pope and wife Kathy of Thomasville, and Ricky Pope and wife Sandy of High Point; her half-brother, Don Davis and wife Debbie of South Carolina; 3 nieces; and 3 nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.  No formal visitation will be held.   Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
