Selah Faith Ramsey

Selah Faith Ramsey, the infant daughter of Harley Gage Ramsey and Madison Jo Poovey, was born Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem and went to heaven to be with her Lord. Selah’s anticipated arrival was to be February 9, 2026, but the Lord decided to take her early to be with him.  She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Alberta “Bertie” May and William “Bill” Lester. 

Selah leaves behind her parents, Gage Ramsey and Madison Poovey; two brothers, Jeremiah Adams and Miles Ramsey; two sisters, Harley C. Ramsey and Bailey Adams; maternal grandparents, Emma and Gregory Kinney, Jody Poovey; paternal grandmother, Rita Phillips; paternal great-grandparents, Larry and Gail Wright; aunts, Amanda Poovey, Callie Poovey, Amber Pardue, Miranda Ramsey, Lisa Whitley, Nicole Tussey; uncles, Zachary Poovey, Thomas Poovey, Sheldon Ramsey; many cousins and other loving family members.  Selah will be dearly missed by her whole family. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday October 14, 2025 at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville, with Pastor Herman Powell officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the cemetery.  The family requests you to wear purple to the service to honor Selah.
