Selina Hadene Crenshaw Alford, 71, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, surrounded by her family. Selina was born to the late Martha Crenshaw. She worked for many years as a CNA in the healthcare industry and with the City of High Point before later serving as a waitress. Selina enjoyed sewing, crocheting, dancing, listening to Elvis, and going to the beach, but most of all, she cherished spending time with her beloved family. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Burris Thelton Godwin; her daughter, Michelle Godwin; her brother, Frank Crenshaw; and her sister, Mary Hilton.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Garland Bryce Alford of the home; her daughter, Angela Ramey and husband Jason; her grandchildren, Kristen Summer Cox and husband Dylan Cox and David Wayne Godwin; her great-grandchildren, Summerlee Brook Cox and Dylan Lee Cox, Jr.; the man who raised her, Ray Hilton; her bonus granddaughter, Brianna Ramey (Luis); and her bonus great-grandchildren, Braylen Rendon and Ivan Rendon.

A gathering of friends will be held at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
