Shannon Leann Scarlett

Miss Shannon Leann Scarlett, 49, of Thomasville, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Hinkle Hospice House.  She was born on August 20, 1975 in Davidson County, Thomasville, NC to Charles Lee Scarlett and Connie Beasley Scarlett.  She graduated in 1994 from East Davidson High School and worked in her family business, Scarlett’s Leather & Things.  She loved animals, especially cats and bulldogs, the Carolina Panthers, Country Music, the color purple, panning for gems at Spruce Pines, shopping, puzzles, and Diamond Art.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Everett and Nina Scarlett; her maternal grandparents, Jack and Lois Beasley; and several aunts and uncles.

Surviving is her mother, Connie Scarlett of the home; brothers, Charles “Chuck” Lee Scarlett, Jr. and wife Fiona and Christopher Lance Scarlett and wife Lori; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 4:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Christopher Lance Scarlett officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday prior to the service from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
