Mrs. Sharon Jane Scarboro Stocks, 74, a resident of Archdale, NC, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday evening, July 7, 2026 at Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC.  Sharon was born on July 18, 1951 to the late Roy Eugene Scarboro and Reatha Mae Elkes Scarboro.  On June 30, 1973, Sharon married Rev. Mike Stocks and they enjoyed 53 years of marriage as husband and wife.  She is a member of Harvest Pentecostal Church in Thomasville, NC currently, however, She faithfully served in the Lord’s ministry 51 years.  She was the former Principal at New Life Christian Academy in Carrolton, KY, owned her own wallpaper business and also served as an elder caregiver for family members.  Sharon was talented in all areas of music and traveled with her husband serving in domestic and foreign missions. 

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by a brother, J.C. Scarboro. 

Surviving is her loving husband, Rev. Mike Stocks of the home; her daughter, Crystal Meade and husband, Christopher of Wallburg; three brothers, William Scarboro and wife, Gayle, Robert Scarboro and wife, Vickie, Roy Elwood Scarboro and wife, Frances, all of Archdale; her sister, Lajuana Spiers and husband, Doug of Asheboro; four grandchildren, Ashton Christopher Meade, Caden Michael Meade, Kylie Addison Meade and Chloe Danielle Meade.  Sharon will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be missed by everyone who knew her. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Harvest Pentecostal Church 1027 N. NC Hwy 109, Thomasville, NC, with Rev. Wylie Rhinehart, Rev. Michael Pullens, Rev. Terry Newsome and Rev. Jeremy Matheny officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends starting at 9:00 AM at the church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvest Pentecostal Church Fellowship Hall PO Box 3050 Thomasville, NC 27360.
