Sharon Marie Sechrest Mason, 78, a resident of Kannapolis, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord. She was born on March 4, 1948 in Thomasville, NC to her parents, the late Vera Frances Henley and William Archie Sechrest. Sharon worked for over 30 years with Time Warner Cable. When she was able, she enjoyed thrifting, going to movies, and taking a scenic car ride with her grandkids. One of her favorite joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren, especially cooking and gardening with them. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Ann Justice, three siblings, Ann Hollifield, Lank Sechrest, and Sherrill Sechrest; and her fur-baby, Zues.

Surviving, is her two grandchildren, Michael Coffey (Caleb Nations) and Tiffany Coffey; two siblings, Ruby Dare Tyler and Odell Sechrest; close family friend, Lynn Coffey; and loving fur-baby, RoRo.
