Sharon Patterson Daniel

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sharon Patterson Daniel, 75, of Archdale Friday, July 18, 2025 at her residence surrounded by family wrapped in love. A beacon of kindness, compassion and strength, Sharon left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sharon was born June 5, 1950 to the late James Patterson and Ruby Wright Cornell in Kentucky. She was a prominent realtor in the local area for many years, co-owning her own company, Hearthstone Real Estate. Also, before her real estate career she was a flight attendant for US Air for 17 years. Sharon formerly was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville and recently attended Prospect Global Methodist Church.

Surviving family members are her husband, Michael Edward Daniel of the home; a daughter, Stacey Phillips and a granddaughter, Kaelyn Ladd of Clarksville, TN; four siblings, Charles Cornell and wife Gina of Elkton KY; Robert Cornell and wife Amanda of Egg Harbor Township NJ; Debbie Oglesby and Brenda Bourland and husband Ralph of Nortonville KY, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 at Prospect Global Methodist Church at 1pm to be followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Davidson Senior Services.

Sharon made the world a brighter place by giving her time and love to others in need. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
