Sharon Lou (Beese) Surber

Mrs. Sharon Lou Beese Surber, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at her home. She was born on May 16, 1951, in Belvidere, Illinois to the late Louis and Ruth Ball Beese. Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked in restaurant management most of her life, many years at Sir Pizza in High Point. Sharon loved trips to the Cherokee Harrah’s Casino and was a hopeful and faithful Powerball player. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy “Cecil” Surber

She is survived by her son, Lonnie Surber and wife Myra of Kernersville; daughter, Tammy Surber Simpson of Thomasville; grandchildren, Alex Simpson (Mason Lynch) and Ashley Kennedy (Michael); great-granddaughter, Carmen Rose Kennedy; brother-in-law, Tommy Surber (Pat); and three sisters-in-law, Rosa Mae Johnson, Dorothy Cox, and Carolyn Surber.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home with Charles Teague officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home, 10301 N.
