Sharon Ann Holmes Pullum Obituary

Mrs. Sharon Ann Holmes Pullum, 73, of Thomasville, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Davidson Health & Rehab Center in Lexington.  She was born on April 5, 1952 in Guilford County, High Point, NC to Aubrey Mearse Holmes and Betty Jean Whicker Holmes.  She was a homemaker but also worked at Golden Corral and K&W Cafeteria.  She was a member of Thomasville Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Eugene Pullum on January 25, 2011, whom she married on August 1, 1970; and her brother, Johnny Holmes.

Surviving are her two sons, Jeffrey Glenn Pullum and wife Bethany and Tracy Eugene Pullum, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Shawn Lee Pullum, Makayla Storm Pullum, Tristan Dawn Pullum, Salem Pullum, and Damien Pullum; and a very dear friend, Nancy Clark of Thomasville.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hughes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. C. Alan Greene officiating.  Mrs. Pullum will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until the hour of the graveside service.  The family will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 for visitation from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.  Memorials may be directed to Thomasville Church of God, 1200 West Holly Hill Rd.
