Shirley Lee (Lewis) Kronenberg

Mrs. Shirley Lee Lewis Kronenberg, age 74, originally of Davidson County passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 while at Alleghany Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Forsyth County on June 12, 1947 a daughter of the late Ernest and Gladys Atkins Lewis.  Shirley was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed going to yard sales and crocheting.  She especially loved spending time with the grandkids and her dog, Duke.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Dwight Dunavant Kronenberg; son, Dwight Daniel Kronenberg; and brother, Steve Edward Lewis.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis Kronenberg and wife Carolyn in Thomasville, and Chris Kronenberg and wife Tammy of Sparta; brother, Ernest Gene Lewis of Kentucky; six grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Turner, Justin Dennis Kronenberg, Amber Caroline Kronenberg, Dwight Daniel Kronenberg, Jr., Dillon Trent Kronenberg, and Cody Wray Carter; five great-grandchildren, Serenity Kronenberg, Kyra Turner, Paisley Hundley, Colby Carter, and Payton Kronenberg; and her dog, Duke.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville with the Rev. Roy Cantrell officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home, 10301 N. NC Hwy 109, Winston-Salem.
