Mrs. Shirley Ann Kennedy Trivette, 73, of Thomasville, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her home. She was born on October 10. 1950 in Guilford County, High Point, NC to Fredrick Eugene Kennedy, Jr. and Annie Cornelia Plowman Kennedy. She retired from Parkdale Mills after 37 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, “Buster” Joe Trivette on April 8, 2016; her daughters, Lora Gasque and Carolyn Hill; her granddaughters, Tiffany Rhymer and Sara Ann Scarlett; and her grandson, Zachary Phillips.
Surviving are her daughters, Donna Farlow and husband Randy of Sophia and Jo Scarlett and husband Jeff of Lexington; her sons, Brian Aultman and wife Renee and Joe Don Aultman, Jr. and wife Melissa, all of Thomasville; sister, Sue Edwards of Thomasville; step-children, Tonya Trivette and Jimmy Trivette; eleven grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeffery, Jerry, Ashley, Katie, Cody, Dustin, Emily, David, Brandon, and Sydney; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Bynum Orr officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home for a visitation on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
