Mrs. Shirley was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Terry “Gene” Elliott; her beloved son, Bobby Elliott; and her cherished grandson, Jonathan Wardell.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Wardell Harnik and husband Samuel Harnik, with whom she spent the last two decades creating treasured memories and sharing everyday moments. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Stephanie Rackley and husband Randy Rackley, and her adored great-grandson, Grayson Rackley, who brought her immense pride and joy. Shirley is further survived by her daughter, Ana-Lisa Ball, and her grandchildren, Terry, Jamie, Angela and Emily, along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Affectionately known as “Nanny” by all who knew her, Shirley never met a stranger. She had a gift for conversation, a wonderful sense of humor, and a spirited, spunky personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She found great happiness in spending time with her family, shopping, and sharing stories and laughter. She also deeply loved her two wonderful dogs, Molly and Luke, who were constant companions and brought her comfort and joy.
Shirley dedicated over 21 years of service to Mid State Petroleum before retiring, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and resilience.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace with our Lord and Savior, and we hold onto the promise that we will be reunited again.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all those blessed to call her “Nanny.”
