Sue Ester Rich Caple Obituary

Sue Ester Rich Caple, 71, of Thomasville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Carolina Rehabilitation Center of Cumberland in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Sue was born October 14, 1952 in Clarendon County, South Carolina to the late Roosevelt Rich and Sue Ester Johnson Rich. Sue loved the Lord with all her heart and lived each day to worship and praise him. Through the years, she worked many careers, but her greatest job was caring for children. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Her greatest joy in life was the time she spent loving and raising her children and grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Bishop Roosevelt Rich, Jr.

Surviving are her four children, Floyd Jr. Rich, Jennifer Nelson, Michael Nelson, and Tiffany Caple; five brothers, James Rich, Robert Rich, Thomas Rich, Isaiah Rich, Jerimichael Rich; four sisters, Catherine R. Dawkins, Lumia R. Cobb, Linda R. Gause, Pamela Rich; her adopted brother, Terry Murray; adopted sister, Elaine Skeen; she also leaves behind six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A homegoing service will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 1:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home at 122 W. Main Street Thomasville, NC 27360 with Pastor Susan Burgess officiating Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in High Point. The family will greet friends on Tuesday evening at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
