Tammy (Hunt) Waddell

Tammy Rose Hunt Waddell, 53, of Thomasville passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her residence.

Tammy was born December 30, 1967 to Keith Hunt, Sr. and Brenda Dial Hunt in Lumberton. She worked in human resources for University of North Carolina at Greensboro for several years. Tammy was a member of Thomasville World Outreach Center. She will be remembered for her love of the Lord Jesus Christ, her kind and generous spirit, her love of music as well as her devotion to her family.

In addition to her parents, surviving is her husband of 34 years, Richard Waddell of the home; her two miracle children, Mikayla Waddell of the home, Stephen Waddell of Raleigh; a brother, Keith Hunt, Jr. and wife Hollie of High Point; two sisters, Belinda Satterwhite and husband C.T. of Durham, Shanah Hodges and husband Derrick and their little boy, Darius of Trinity; several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Pastor Pete Bumgarner officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park where the family will greet friends following the committal. There will be no viewing or formal visitation.
