Ted Alan Moore, 55, of Thomasville, North Carolina passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, surrounded by close family at his side.
Ted Moore was born on a naval base in Bainbridge, Maryland, July 26, 1965. A true friend to all who knew him, Ted put his heart and soul into everything he did, and was beloved by many. Ted loved cheering for the Seattle Seahawks, NASCAR, and the Tarheels. He enjoyed good music, a great joke and spirited conversation. Ted was always up for Facetime with his family and friends – he made sure his loved ones knew they always had his support.
Ted worked for Häfele America, and his coworkers in the Archdale plant will miss his colorful and lively conversations about politics, sports, and everything else under the sun.
Ted Moore was a kind, fun-loving and devoted husband, as well as an outstanding, supportive, loving father. He was a loving son and a great comrade to his brothers. He loved his animals Jackson, Ginger, and Tabbie dearly. Ted had a way with words—he was an insightful writer who spoke genuinely and always straight from his heart. The beautiful words he blessed us with throughout the years will linger in our hearts and bring comfort in the difficult days and years to come.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Heather Moore, his son, Kris Moore, daughter Samantha (Samye) Wolle, father Ray (Sylvia) Moore, brothers Troy (Mar Tiese) Moore, Scott (Paula) Moore, and Brent Moore. Ted is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Moore.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC) with Chaplain Tony Casas officiating.
