Timothy Lee Flinchum

Timothy Lee Flinchum, 64, of East Bend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born on May 28, 1961 in Mecklenburg County to the late Robert Calvin and Nell Saylor Flinchum.  Tim was a welder by trade and retired from John Deere-Hitachi Corporation.  He loved all things outdoors, especially fishing and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Robert Calvin Flinchum, Jr.

Tim is survived by his loving a faithful wife of 49 years, Bonnie Romesburg Flinchum of the home; son, Bobby Flinchum (Erin McNair) of Chesapeake, Virginia; sister, Cynthia Flinchum Black (Van) of Southport, N.C.; and granddaughter, Amelia Flinchum.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Tim will be held from 2:00PM until 5:00PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home, 10301 N. NC Hwy 109, Winston-Salem. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com
