Mr. Timothy “Tim” Lynn Kindley, 56, a resident of Thomasville, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Kindley was born on August 13, 1963 in Davidson County to the late John Samuel and Marie Varner Kindley. He worked in construction for many years. Mr. Kindley was a man who loved his family very much, especially his grandkids. He had a great sense of humor, loved to pick on everyone, traveling to the beach, cooking, gardening and canning, and enjoyed racing. Mr. Kindley was also very generous, and would give you the shirt off his back. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Hancock, Jr.; and two sisters, Teresa Grant and Sarah Green.
Mr. Kindley is survived by his old lady, Phyllis Summey of the home; children, Lyndsay Kindley and TJ Kindley, both of Thomasville; step-daughter, Sharon Horne of Thomasville; brothers, Johnny Kindley and wife Sandi, Sam Kindley, Glen Kindley and wife Crystal, Charlie Kindley and wife Loretta, Kenneth Kindley, Phillip Kindley, and Brian Kindley all of Thomasville; sister, Kathy Kindley of Thomasville; grandchildren, Savannah Hicks, Tyler Hicks, Triston Horne, Diana Harrington, Damien Harrington, Trevor Horne, and Aeron Horne, all of Thomasville; and great-grandchildren, Emma Hicks, Levi Horne, and Grayson Henderson.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the JC Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Kindley will lie in repose at the funeral home from 1-6 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 for those who would like to come by to pay their respects.
