Timothy (Tim) Lee Bell, 64, of Thomasville, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the Hospice Home at High Point. He was born on July 20, 1961 in Forsyth County, Winston-Salem, NC to Billy Gene Bell and Mary Nell Alexander Bell. He graduated with a respiratory care degree from Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem and retired after 38 years as a respiratory therapist at the Women’s Hospital in Greensboro. After retirement, he loved being a professional handyman. He was an avid cyclist, where he rode many tours with Cycle North Carolina. He loved being outdoors and knitting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Bell; and his paternal grandmother, Lois Bell.
On August 30, 1986, he married Penny Ridge, who survives of the home; also surviving are his daughters, Sara Bell Parrish of Wilmington, NC and Allison Grace (Gracie) Bell and husband Marco Ciccia of Italy; and two grandchildren, Eva Parrish and Dax Parrish, who loving called him, Papa.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
