Timothy "Timmy" Burchette Obituary

Mr. Timothy “Timmy” Grady Burchette, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center.  Timmy was born in Forsyth County, on October 26, 1959, to the late Glenn Arthur Burchette and Judy Ann Bottoms Burchette.  Timmy was the owner of Burchette Sign Company and was very dedicated to his customers and the quality of work they deserved.  He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends.  Timmy enjoyed racing, riding motorcycles and just “going fast” in general.  He liked to build and work on vehicles and was very particular and wanted it “to be right” – so he had to do it himself.  Timmy simply loved life and he loved people and that fact is evident, by the way his family and friends loved him back.  He knew everyone and had a huge list of loyal friends. Timmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and he will be greatly missed by everyone.

On February 14, 1996, Timmy married the love of his life Wendy Sprinkle, and they enjoyed 29 years as husband and wife, and built a wonderful life together before his passing.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Wendy Burchette of the home; two sons, Kamron Burchette (Kimberly “Punky”), Keaton Burchette (Brenna); a daughter, Kaley Burchette (Briar); two sisters, Tammy Klein (Ray) and Glenna Barber; three grandchildren, Jaxson, Evy and Carter; his dog, Diesel, who was literally his shadow; extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Timmy will be held from 2 PM - 6 PM, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Cross Ties Restaurant, 11 E. Main Street, Thomasville, NC.. Online condolences may be left for the Burchette family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
