Mr. Tommy Roger Coe, Sr., 73, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at his home. He was born on August 6, 1948 in Lexington to the late William Franklin Coe, Sr. and Jennie Mae Tussey Coe. Tommy served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in the furniture industry and was an Associate Pastor at Prayer, Praise, and Worship. Tommy loved fishing, going to the beach, eating good food, and especially loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Penny Michelle Coe, and his son, Larry Wayne Campbell.
Surviving is his loving wife, Diane Mabe Coe of the home; one son, Tommy Roger Coe, Jr. of Thomasville; three daughters, Anita Cartrette (Kelly) of Lexington, Charity Rose Hayes (Mark) of Lexington, and Glenna Bailey (Bruce) of Denton; two brothers, William Franklin Coe, Jr. of Hamlet, and Timothy Bruce Coe of Colorado; fifteen grandchildren, Anna, Roger, Billie, Destiny, Brittany, Zack, Levi, Jacob, Garrett, Davey, Thomas, Matthew, Bentley, Abby, and Luke; and four great-grandchildren.
