Walter Lynn Moore Obituary

Mr. Walter Lynn Moore, 73, a resident of Jarrell Road, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Pine Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on July 25, 1946 in Davidson County, NC to Walter James Moore and Dorothy Louise Snider Moore. He graduated from Denton High School and was a US Marine Corps veteran. He and his wife were the owners and operators of Road Ranger Truck Stop in Lexington and he was a Master Mason with the Denton Masonic Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sydney Moore.

On September 1, 1972, he married Norma June Sykes, who survives of the home; also surviving is his daughter, Johanna (Joey) Moore Cody and husband Jeremy of Thomasville; his son, Todd Behrens and wife Deborah of Denton; and grandchildren, Courtney Behrens and Nicholas (Nick) Behrens.

A private family memorial service will be held.
