William “Bill” Cletus Allen, Jr., 88, of Trinity passed away on Tuesday morning, January 25, 2022 at his residence.

Bill was born August 9, 1933 to the late William C. Allen, Sr. and Kathrine Pearl Lackey Allen in Randolph County. He served his country in the United States Army. He was the proud owner of B & J’s BBQ until his retirement. Bill was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Thornburg Allen in 2007; three siblings, Randall Allen, Carol Wall, Peggy Beane. Surviving are two sons, Steve Allen and Jerry Allen both of the home; a daughter, Terri Allen of High Point; six grandchildren, Andrew and Jacob Cox, Mark, Josh, Shawn and Dylan Allen.

A private graveside service with immediate family will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville with Rev. Bill Hatfield. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s organization of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be given to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
