William Glen Alley Obituary

Mr. William Glen Alley, 83, a resident of Christopher Lane, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Henry Etta & Bruce Hinkle Hospice House. He was born on September 8, 1938 in Tazewell County, VA to Grat Thomas Alley and Nirine Virginia Gillespie Alley. He retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries Plant D. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Lee Alley.

In 1982, he married Margaret Ratliff Bowman, who survives of the home; also surviving is his son, Ricky Alley and wife Michelle; step-son, Michael Bowman and wife Amanda; five grandchildren, Nickie, Carrie, Kendall, Matthew, and Kamryn; and two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Delaney.
