William "Joe" Gordon Obituary
Mr. William “Joe” Joseph Gordon, 38, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Joe was born in August 13, 1982 to William Craig Gordon and Teresa McCann Gordon in Davidson County. He will be remembered for his love of NC State, spending time with family, playing pool, and riding motorcycles. He was a person that would go out of his way to help anyone he could. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Joe was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Betty McCann; paternal grandfather, Ross Gordon. In addition to his parents, surviving is his grandmother, Beatrice Gordon of Lexington; a brother, Robert Gordon and wife Amanda of Lexington; a niece, Madison Gordon of Lexington; many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Community Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Workman officiating. The family will greet friends Monday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons funeral home in Thomasville. Online condolences may be given to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
