Mr. William “Junior” Elbert Baker, Jr., 64, a resident of Trinity, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville. He was born July 3, 1961, in Guilford County, to the late William Elbert Baker and Bessie Elizabeth Jernigan Baker. Junior was a member at From Behind the Veil Ministry in Thomasville. He was a loyal employee at Marsh Furniture in High Point for many years and considered it his 2nd home. Junior enjoyed playing games on his computer and traveled to the beach a few times. He loved eating a cheeseburger from Sunrise Diner with his family and adored spending time with his fur-babies. On February 14, 1993, Junior married Kathy Lewallen Baker and they enjoyed 32 years as husband and wife.
In addition to his parents, Junior is preceded in death by an infant child; and his brother-in-law, Jim Barnes; his mother-in-law, Eunice Lewallen; Sandra and Ed Kepley, special family friends that loved as a son.
Junior is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Baker of the home; his son, Nathan Baker of the home; his brother, Billy Baker and wife Shannon; two sisters, Diane Barnes, Shirley Houser and husband Bobby; several nieces and nephews; his fur-babies – the love of his life.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM, at the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville, with Jim Lowe and Bishop Tommy Shortt officiating. The family will greet friends Sunday evening from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the funeral home and at other times at Kathy’s home 2737 Sundance Trail, Trinity, NC.
