William Richard (Richie) Windham, Jr.

Mr. William Richard (Richie) Windham, Jr., 54, a resident of Knollwood Drive, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at his home.  He was born on March 23, 1966 in Davidson County, NC to William Richard Windham, Sr. and Betty Lou Rabon Windham.  He worked at Mickey Truck Bodies, Inc. for 25 years and most recently with Dennis Messer at Unique Auto and at The Terry House BBQ.   

Surviving in addition to his mother, Betty and his father, Richard, both of Thomasville, are his daughters, Amy Windham of Thomasville and Ashlee Graves and husband T.J. of Lexington; his sisters, Ginny Smith and husband Elven C. Smith, III of Aberdeen and Kimberly Dawn Miller and husband Randall of Thomasville; grandchildren, Ashton Graves, Shalee Graves, Bella Joy Chambers, and Alexis Paige Gibbons; his niece, Brooke O’Connor Walkup; and his nephews, Anthony Windham and Baylee Miller.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Hilltop Baptist Church with Rev. W.A. Seawell, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the church.  Richie will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the visitation at 1:30 PM.  Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
