Wilma “Jean” Hall Cline, 87, a resident of Trinity, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the Thomasville Medical Center. She was born on October 11, 1935 in Davidson County to the late James Clifford Hall and Eula Elizabeth Loftin Hall. Jean enjoyed travelling and living all over the world while her husband served in the US Air Force for 25 years. She enjoyed blue grass music and when she was able, she attended Hillside Park Baptist Church in Thomasville. Jean was proud of being a published author of her book, Embers of the Past. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Burton Cline.
Surviving is her two daughters, Tammi Brinkley and husband Greg of Lexington and Sherri Jean Cline Watford and husband Jesse of Thomasville; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Prevost and husband Jacob of Thomasville; two great-grandchildren, Isaac Prevost and Leonora Prevost; and family friend, Tim Small of Trinity.
A private graveside service will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
